Guests of The Spa at Chaminade must be at least 18 years of age to enjoy a spa service. Services to young spa-goers, guests between the ages of 13 and17, are provided at our discretion and must be accompanied to the spa by a parent or guardian. ‍

For your comfort, The Spa at Chaminade will provide robes and slippers for treatments. We also recommend shaving no less than two hours prior to any appointment for ultimate comfort.

Please be sure to inform your service provider if you are pregnant, have high blood pressure, heart ailments or any condition that may prohibit your taking heat, massage or skin care therapies. We highly discourage alcohol consumption prior to, during or immediately following spa treatments. Please avoid sun exposure following skin therapy treatments.

For the peace, quiet and well-being of our guests we respectfully request that cell phones, and all electronic devices be left outside or are turned off before entering the spa.

Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your spa services to allow time to change. If your schedule permits, we highly recommend arriving an hour early to enjoy our saunas, steam rooms, whirlpools and lounges. If you arrive late for your spa service, your service may be modified. In order to honor the next scheduled appointment, your service will still end at its scheduled time.

Storage of valuables during spa treatments is not recommended, we request that you do not bring valuable possessions to the spa. If you are a guest of the resort, we encourage you to leave your personal belongings in the security of your guest room.

To enjoy the best availability of spa services, we suggest making spa reservations at least two weeks in advance. We are proud to offer both male and female service providers, and you will be scheduled with either unless you state your preference during your reservation. We welcome walk-in requests, and will do our best to accommodate you based on availability.

The Spa at Chaminade is the premier day spa destination in Santa Cruz. The Spa does not charge a separate facilities fee for use of all spa amenities. When you book a treatment, you are welcome to take full advantage of all spa amenities (including access to the spa patio and hot tub, two outdoor heated pools, steam rooms, salt saunas, fitness center equipment, locker rooms, hiking trails, tennis and pickleball courts). Whether you decide to arrive early or stay late, we welcome you to enjoy a relaxing state of mind.

For your convenience we accept cash, personal checks, Chaminade gift cards and all major credit cards. You may also bill your spa charges to your guest room. All prices are subject to change without notice.

A 20% service charge is included in all displayed service prices. Additional gratuity is appreciated for outstanding service.

Your appointment time is reserved just for you. 24-hour notice is required to cancel or change an appointment. If less than 24-hour notice is given you will be charged in full for cancellations unless we are able to re-book your appointment time with another guest. If an appointment is rescheduled on the day of service an additional $45 charge will be assessed.

All treatments and packages are non-refundable, non-transferable, and non-exchangeable once purchased. No returns or exchanges on products.
